Guest Reviews & Ratings
I felt right at home in this hotel with real antique furniture, which gives it a unique atmosphere. The rooms, although on the small side, were affordable. It was very compact, but unfortunately, there wasn't a fridge available. The service was exceptional, especially thanks to Petronella and Melchior who were very friendly and accommodating. They were lovely and even had my towel and coat hangers at my door within five minutes. The location couldn't have been better, located inside the walls of the city, making it unnecessary to take the underground as you can practically walk everywhere. It's pretty good, right in the middle of everything to see, with plenty of restaurants and bars around. Dining options were abundant with numerous cafes and restaurants nearby. As for facilities, they were satisfactory, and the hotel provided good value for money overall.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious and unique, but we faced an issue with the AC that broke down for a night, leaving us without cooling. The location was superb for exploring Rome, with easy access to major attractions, but it lacked a touch of luxury. The service was laid back, which some may appreciate, but it also meant a paid shuttle service for reaching destinations. Dining options were original, but the wait times were long.
